Old Tennessee State Prison Ride
October 21 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
KSU @ 10 am from Boswell’s Ring of Fire Harley-Davidson
A perfect complement to your Halloween season…a ride to the real SCARY-VILLE! We’ll quietly (yea right!) slip past the guard shack onto the prison grounds, you can still feel the eyes on you, someone’s watching you from the guard towers. Once past the gate you will be escorted through the massive, secure walls into the courtyard. Photographed, finger printed and given your own ID number and a bunk…now you are in the historic Tennessee State Prison!
The first question new arrivals get at the prison is “Why are you here?” GREAT QUESTION! You are exclusively invited by the Metro Police Christmas Charities Program for lunch (at no charge…just like the inmates!) It’s their way of saying thanks for our annual support of the program. Boswell’s HOG Chapters use this event to kick off the charities drive leading up to the Toy Parade on October 28. And, you’ll get to see how the old prison cafeteria serves as a commissary and staging area for the delivery of Baskets on Christmas Eve morning.
Come out for a few miles, good fun and lunch in the prison chow hall with fellow riders. Everyone who volunteers, or is thinking of volunteering during the Toy Parade OR Christmas Eve morning at the prison is welcome. Bring the entire family or bring a friend, just show up and be ready to ride from Boswell’s Ring of Fire Harley-Davidson in Madison at 10:00 am Saturday, October 21!
Welcome, to the real SCARY-VILLE!
